This is my third rechargeable trimmer and I have been very happy with it over approximately one year's use. The battery actually lasts several haircuts before I have to recharge. The real beauty of this trimmer is that when the battery does run out you can plug in the charger and run it off AC power to finish the cut. No more having to hide out with a half haircut while you wait for your battery to recharge.<br /><br />The vacuum feature works as well as can be expected. It's not particularly powerful and only works on pretty short pieces of hair, but if you just need a quick trim of your mustache or beard it will do a good job of keeping the hair off your bathroom sink.
