This trimmer has done everything it claimed to do. It is very easy to use and enables you to groom yourself without fear of an uneven cut.

The best trimmer I've yet used.
First off, I have to say I'm severely disappointed with some of the other reviews of this product, as I have found them to be light years from my experience with this trimmer. Thus far, I have found it to be well designed, well built and very easy to use. Also to my surprise, the vaccum works just great! Yes, there are still hairs that hit the sink, but whadda ya want, perfection? The vaccum collects easily two-thirds to three-quarters of the trimmed hair and that's a good thing.<br /><br />That said, I've found the most impressive aspect of the trimmer is the extended precision trimming head. While not as wide as the standard trimming head, it extends the cutting edge far enough away from the body of the trimmer to provide the easiest and most accurate edge trimming I've ever experienced. Outlining my beard, moustache and sideburns is suddenly a far easier and more precise task. For any guy who either wants or needs cleaner lines on his facial hair, this is an excellent choice!<br /><br />I'm still getting used to the length selector and how to get the desired look before having to take off the guide comb and switch trimmer heads to get a more precise cut, but I'm sure that will come with time. It operates in much the same way as my previous Norelco trimmer, but the body design of this trimmer fits much better in the hand, and the guide comb assembly provides a much more comfortable trim as I glide it over my chin. It's also a wonderful thing to have the fast 1 hour recharge time!<br /><br />The only downside I've found so far is some irritation of the skin while using the extended trimmer head. It's a VERY sharp head and can nick you if you're not careful, but I put that in the still-learning-how-to-use-it category. This is truly a great trimmer, so to all my proudly facially hirsute brothers, I say don't believe the nay-sayers and pick this puppy up!
Does what it says and does it well
If you want a good trimmer that allows you to keep your beard at a length longer than stubble this is the one. Vacuum works reasonably well but, as my beards white, it's hard to say how much hits the sink. All-in-all, I'm very satisfied.

It doesn't get all of the hairs that are trimmed, but it gets alot.<br /><br />I like the trim guide that is part of the razor.<br /><br />thumbs up
