Blow you away.
Most men do not know how to trim their beard.....That said, this is the device for you. Its cool, it works, and its simple.......I have never had this trimmer jump to a different setting.<br />I use this for cutting off my hair........Kick it up to turbo..It screams.<br />Don't expect it to vacuum all........Small container for hair.........<br />I have spent many $$ looking for the right trimmer...........This is it.
Best trimmer I've ever used.
I've worn a beard for 15 years, and have tried everything from full sized Oster clippers to a variety of trimmers. None compare to this item. This makes facial hair maintenance a snap. The built-in vacuum keeps the trimmings in a chamber and not all over the vanity. Can't recommend this highly enough.
Wonderful Beard Trimmer- Best I Have Ever Used
I have tried countless beard trimmers over the last ten years. I have tried trimmers made specifically for beards, trimmers made for cutting hair and everything in-between. The major complaints I had with all of these products were that a) they pulled my beard hair and hurt and b) were very messy and not at all precise. This T980 takes care of all of that. First of all, it's a well-made product. All the parts fit cleanly, the charger works well, the directions are great, the packaging is terrific. Secondly, it is easy to use with a cursory understanding of the instructions. It took me less than 20 minutes to read the instructions and trim my entire beard. The two things I like the most about this trimmer would be the vacuum feature (actually gets about 90% or more of the hair) and the smooth feeling it gives you when you use it. It does not pull, yank or grate your face at all. It makes beard trimming a very enjoyable experience.
My first beard trimmer
I have had my T980 for a couple weeks now. It works great. What used to take me 15 minutes annoying minutes with scissors and the little trimmer attachment on my electric shaver, now takes 2 minutes. It saves me a lot of time. It hasn't snagged a hair yet, it cuts clean and true. It's not only a beard trimmer, but it will edge for you too, so you can get a nice clean neck line or shape up your sideburns. There are no attachments for me to otherwise misplace or lose. It is easy to pick up and start operating as soon as it's charged the first time. The "turbo" button turns up the speed of the trimmer, but I can't think of a reason why I would ever need to do that. I like this trimmer. All of the reviews and articles that I read online pointed me to this particular grooming tool. I know there are other big names in beard trimmers, but I am glad I chose the T980. Seems to have a nice long battery life too; I don't have to charge it up every time I get done using it. Great beard trimmer.
Awesome
Closest setting is really short, like a stubble slightly longer than average 5 o'clock shadow. Like a second day length for me. Still drops a few trimmings on regular mode but not much. So far its perfect for keeping an even tamed beast on my mug.

Very short beard...bit longer than a 5 0'clock shadow.<br /><br />Tried them all over the years.<br /><br />This is in a class by itself.<br /><br />Perfect even trim. Collects the cuttings. And very comfortable in the hand.
less mess
i love the vacuum feature. it doesn't get every hair but it is better than a messy sink area. i had the previous model and it actually shaved closer. the new plastic guide is bigger on this one. no big deal...just means i need to trim everyday instead of skipping days.
