I love the old style Sonicare and it works great!
Took a little getting used to, but this thing ROCKS!
My husband and I are total converts! We love our Sonicare. When my husband had to leave on business, we had to draw cards to determine who got to keep the Sonicare! My dentist is giving me another one next week, so we won't have that problem again!

AMAZING TOOTHBRUSH TRULY WHITENS
I purchased the Sonicare about 3 weeks ago. At the same time I read a review of toothpastes and changed to Colgate with Peroxide and Soda.<br />Since I was in my 20's (I am 62 now) I had 2 areas of my front teeth that were discolored. I have tried the different treatments which are suppose to whiten teeth, to no avail.<br />5 days after beginning to use the Sonicare and the change in tooth paste, the discolored lines in my front teeth are almost gone, it is a miracle, and I'll aways use the Sonicare. I am THRILLED, and will be recommending it to everyone - IT TRULY WORKS!

EXCELLENT Toothbrush
I bought this particular toothbrush back in March, 2002, and I couldn't be any happier. My teeth have never felt cleaner, nor have they looked any whiter. The bristles move fast, but they're not vicious and hurt your gums like some others out there tend to do.<br />It took a little getting used to, but that's the nice thing about the "ramp up" feature of the brush. It goes easy on you for the first few brushings and then it finally works at full capacity.<br />The only real drawback I see in this brush is the "Battery Low" indicator tends to come on a little premature. But other than that I have nothing to really complain about. The battery life is wonderful. I've been on week-long trips and never even worry about running out of battery once I fully charge it. This toothbrush, although expensive, will most likely give you the cleanest mouth you could ever have.

I bought a two pack for both of us and we both love it. It has a 2 minute timer built-in and every 30 seconds it will beep telling you to move to a different zone. The zones are bottom inside, bottom outside, top inside, and top outside. It is even smart enough to run at a slower rate when you first get it and after a number of brushes it will move to a higher speed. I thought I brushed well until I got this but now I know better. I cannot say enough good things about the Sonicare.

I really like this! It seems to be very thorough... leaves your teeth feeling smooth and seems to get the hard-to-reach places in the back very well. Highly recommend!
