Did not like the sent as well as gondolier
Did not like the sent as well as gondolier , but is a great soap . The lather is unbelivable .
Lathers up great!
Great quality soap. Whips up into a thick, slick, cushiony lather that makes shaving a joy... just not particularly fond of the scent. Nothing wrong with it, just not my favorite smell. More of a feminine vibe than I care for.

Phoenix is top of the line: I love the performance and smell. Phoenix soaps lather well and offer good protection. Although initially smelling it I thought it was light; however once soaped up Al Fin increases in potency and really show off complexity. Al Fin is a great scent that masters a floral initial scent then leaves with some spicy notes at the end.. really unique and surprising good combination. I cannot wait to get my next soap from phenoix. The container is nice and large to allow easy loading of a brush: the artwork on this packaging is nice and I don't mind leaving this on the counter to show off to visitors. I have several (Around 8) different soaps and I always seem to pick up my 2 Phoenix soaps much more frequently.

Great seller to order from, I enjoy the rich lather and natural scent, no heavy perfume, just rich lather that does not dry out my skin or cause any shaving irritation
Al Fin is my favorite of the PPA soaps I've tried
Ultra clean barber shop scent. Al Fin is my favorite of the PPA soaps I've tried. To myself, the scent is right where I want it to be. It's unassuming & subtle. :) LOL and I hate using "Cliches" in describing Al Fin. But I do believe All Al Fin Fans have a keen sense of humor. ;-)
One of my Favorites.
This was the first soap I purchased from Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements on recommendation from a friend who is an enthusiast of the company. I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the scent, and satisfied with the lather. All and all I will most definitely be buying this one again when the first is spent.
