The best spray nozzle I've ever found - hands down!
So easy to change spray patterns
My husband does almost all the yard work himself and appreciates having tools that make it easier. This Crenova NT-01 metal hose nozzle sprayer has replaced his old nozzles. The grip is easy to hold and squeeze which is important for arthritic hands and it also has a clip to lock it in place.<br /><br />The spray heads rotates easily and quickly and we were both impressed with the seven spray selections. From the soft mist selection to the far reaching jet spray, this nozzle covers all the water patterns that one could want. I have attached several pictures.<br /><br />The nozzle has a quick connect adapter which is easy to remove as well as a leak preventing washer which is easy to change.<br /><br />Disclosure: A complimentary product was sent to me for trial and evaluation. I have no connection to the seller or the manufacturer and my review is based solely on my perception of the merits of the product.
Suprised - It Doesn't Leak and Has Good Flow
So, when you get this you will notice this strange, black plastic thing threaded into the base of the handle. It looks like a quick connect to a power washer, so don't toss it out. Grab some pliers and give it a quick turn and you can unthread it. Make sure to see the black washer. I didn't since it was compressed on top of the black plastic. Let's say, that without a washer in the handle, you may be very, very underwhelmed by the no-leak capability. Let's say further, that it will spray in every direction and potentially get you soaked.<br /><br />So, after you make sure to have the washer (or your own) in the handle, that attached hose connection does not leak. So, common issue one - a non issue with this product.<br /><br />I typically don't plan out my sprayer purchases and pick up a 5-8 dollar one from THD, Menards or Ace without concern. They typically last a season and usually have a decent flow.<br /><br />This NT01 is pricier than those 'bin' purchases - about 2 to 3 times as much. So, is it worth it? I doubted it, but I like it so far. I will say that I am underwhelmed with the "soak" setting. It just gushes out as soon as it leaves the nozzle. There is no distance so be prepared as you may be the one to get soaked.<br /><br />The rest of the settings are great and the "flat" shoots across my yard. I've not had that power in a hose/nozzle before and I already cannot wait until next summer when the kids are playing outside. They won't see it coming.<br /><br />In all seriousness, I can give a drink to all my bushes and trees in my front yard without having to unroll the hose. That's living. Of course, for gentle watering I'll have to get a bit closer and use another setting.<br /><br />I declined the vendor's first offer for a free nozzle to evaluate. I agreed to the second request and I now admit that the big box store cheap nozzle is not going to be the best. Luckily, my wife never reads these posts.<br /><br />The company sent a promotional sample for evaluation without promise of a review.
Works well; worth the extra money
It looks like it's built a step above in quality over cheaper nozzles.<br /><br />Unfortunately my unit must have some bad threads on it. I could not connect it to a hose properly... hopefully and probably a fluke, but giving it 3 stars for now. I'll ask for a replacement and update the review if I receive one.<br /><br />UPDATE 2015-11-05: I received a replacement unit and didn't have any problems getting it on the hose this time. I did have to remove the black plastic piece that was already attached to the nozzle, and had to use a wrench because my hand wasn't strong enough to turn it. When it came out I noticed that the rubber washer was stuck to it so I had to put it back into the nozzle, then I attached the hose. The unit works very well. The only thing I noticed was that it is not a high volume nozzle (doesn't put out a lot of water but most people probably wouldn't want it to anyway). I'm revising my review to 4.5 stars and rounding up to 5.<br /><br />NOTE: I was sent a free product sample for review. I was not paid or told what to write.
GREAT nozzle perfect for watering plants, washing vehicles and washing down siding or spraying off the porch
I am genuinely impressed with this quality hose nozzle. As a home owner in the Midwest with several BIG dogs and an avid gardener (but disabled now so my gardens... well.. don't get as much attention as I wish I could provide... ) and vehicles and siding to wash, I KNOW the value of a quality built garden hose nozzle / sprayer. I LOVE the ease and convenience of this nozzle! It fit right onto my heavy duty garden hose with standard fittings. The included washer is PERFECT, not a cheap hard plastic version, so NO LEAKS !! That is a priority for me !!!<br /><br />The nozzle fits well into my hand allowing ease of use without causing undo cramping even when using for an extended period of time. Someone paid attention to ALL the finer details on this nozzle, the spray patterns range from high pressure to a fine mist so I can go from hosing down the garage floor or driveway to another setting to wash the car to another setting to use a fine mist on my potted plants without spraying the dirt out everywhere. My husband has restricted use of his hand, he was also able to easily use this nozzle once connected to the hose. 5 GOLD STARS for being made well enough he can use the nozzle !!<br /><br />This nozzle was provided free of charge for reviewing purposes. This is my honest viewpoint after evaluating and using this garden hose nozzle around my home, my vehicles and my gardens. It arrived just in time during the fall cleanup around my home. The spiders had built a number of webs and the leaves were entangled, this nozzle made quick work of the effort to knock them down washing the 8 legged creatures away so I could set out several much larger fake spiders for tonight's Trick or Treaters!
Hefty Nozzle
We have been using this nozzle for a few weeks, and there are no leaks.<br />That's amusing because we aren't always as careful as we should be when we are finished spraying.<br />It has hit the cement sidewalk more than a few times, without any damage at all.<br />The feature that allows it to stay on without pressing the lever is quite handy when we top off the pool or are doing a lot of spraying. It saves your hands from getting sore. Multiple settings for water sprays.<br />Nice quality, has a nice heavy feel in your hand.<br /><br />Product received to test with the option to review.
