Vibrant Neon Gel Polishes After You Try This One Step...
I bought 2 different sets of Neon Gel Polishes from Pine Gel Polish brand. I was looking for more neon sets to add to my polish collection & I was also curious about the brand because I never used them before. They are LED & UV curable gel polishes. I tried them on clear swatch sticks. I used a gel base coat, 2 layers of gel, and a no-wipe top coat on all the colors. The gels i received were smooth & manageable. No strong odor at all. Cured in my gel nail lamp quickly--- no wrinkling, bubbling, etc. Durable, good quality gel after curing & doesn't feel cheap. It didn't chip, shrink, or lift off the nail surface--- in order to prevent this, apply in thin layers. If the gels come up thick, just apply a few drops of gel polish thinner in bottles and you're good to go! Each and every one of the colors were beautiful. The blue isn't exactly neon, its a bit dark, but still stunning and goes well with the set. But the polishes needed something to make the colors pop. MY SECRET TO THIS IS TO USE WHITE GEL POLISH AS YOUR BASE COLOR. That will help neon colors on the nails brighten up to its full potential. This method also works with pastel colors, too. If you're looking for a gel base & no-wipe top coat, Pine Gel Polish has their own set that you can purchase separately on Amazon.<br /><br />This is what I did in order to make the Neon set stand out. I used a 36w & 72w gel lamp. Please apply in thin even layers: Apply base coat & cure for 90 seconds. Apply white gel polish & cure for 90 seconds. Apply a 2nd layer of white gel polish & cure for 90 seconds. Apply neon polish & cure for 90 seconds. Apply a 2nd layer of neon polish & cure for 90 seconds. Apply No-wipe Top Coat & cure for 90 seconds. Apply a 2nd layer of No-wipe Top Coat & cure for 90 seconds. The results came out beautifully for me. These gels are very nice. They are so pretty. Try it. You will love it as much as I do.
