Great nourishing gel base

I got this base gel because it has vitamins in it and because I'd read that Pink Gellac soaks off better than some other products. It really does, thank goodness. Because of the vitamins in it I also feel more comfortable applying it to my bare nails. This week I used it as a base for the acrygel technique and rubbed in clear acrylic powder before curing. I follow that curing with a plain coat of Base 2 and then one of the Pink Gellac top coats (I have all three - Shiny, Pearl and Matte). My nails are smooth & shiny, as though I have on clear polish, and are ready for regular nail polish. I prefer using regular polish because I like to change colors a lot but doing so used to dry out my nails. Polish lasts and lasts on top of gel and can be changed frequently without detriment. I'm a fan of Pink Gellac because I don't have to scrape or buff after a soak-off.

Good Base! Make sure your Lamp is Powerful Enough!

I really really wanted to like this because it supported Andrea and I live for her blog!! But I am going to go back to using Gelish Foundation as a Base. I have had this one for a couple weeks now and have not been able to get past 3 days of wear before peeling. I have changed to 3 different alcohols and it still peels. :(<br /><br />UPDATE:<br />When I initially purchased this my UV light had gone out after 3 years as well as I was out of Foundation. So I followed Andrea and purchased all of her favorites! I purchased the Melody Susie 12Watt Lamp. I found this was the culprit. The light was not powerful enough. Since she is running a Mothers Day Sale on the Melody Susie 24W Lamp, I purchased it and now my nails have lasted a few days without peeling!
