Received a 80% discount- Awesome lotion, not too greasy, just absorbs and moisturizes. Very peasant smell not too strong or too much perfume smell; a wonderful natural fruity aroma. Also provides great sun protection here in ski country of Colorado. Great product, I will definitely purchase more when it's gone!
Both good and bad
I wanted to give this sunscreen a rating of 5 stars but I don't think that would be honest. The description sounds so appealing, gentle and pure, but there are several things that really bother me. First of all, this is definitely NOT a natural product. There are tons of ingredients in here that don't pass that test at all (read the label!). Secondly, the two sunscreens that are listed as active ingredients don't protect against UVA rays, only UVB. Titanium dioxide which protects against UVA rays also is in here but not labeled as an active ingredient, and it doesn't give a percentage. Thirdly, if you research ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate you will see that it is not considered to be an entirely safe ingredient. With all that said, I do like the texture. It is light yet moisturizing, and it feels smooth and even a little silky because of the cyclopentasiloxane (synthetic silicone) in it. I think the description of this is misleading though, and although I don't hate it, it wouldn't be my first choice for a pure, natural, and entirely safe sunscreen. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
