What a Price! As for Performance...

I hunted everywhere for these ceramic bits. It wasn't that I couldn't find them--they're everywhere, Amazon, eB*ay, AliExpr*ss... but every time, one of two things kept me from making the purchase: Wait forever for them to arrive on a slow boat from China, or the eyebrow-raising price tag on bits shipping from the US .<br /><br />So, when I spied these bits for ten bucks, I couldn't hit the 1-click button fast enough.<br /><br />I'm not that experienced with my efile. I have been known to tear up a nail--or my skin-- using metal bits or sandpaper drums. I also recently switched to poly gel, and was concerned these bits might be too much for the softer material.<br /><br />My concerns were unfounded on both fronts.<br /><br />Not only was I able to cut down a thick layer of polygel embedded with large glitter in no time flat, I'm not bleeding.<br />The thin tip designed to do cuticle work is da ever-loving bomb. Gets right in there to trim off those places where my polygel lifted, and without cutting into my nail bed or cuticle--even when using my less-steady left hand.<br /><br />The little brush might be useless for my purposes, because no matter how long I used one bit, or how coarse or fine the bit I chose, these bits never clogged. But nonetheless, nice to have on hand.<br /><br />There's a fine bit (the round topped barrel bit with the red collar) and a coarser bit (the flat-topped barrel bit with the green collar). The cuticle cleaner, the flame shaped bit, and the ball bit are all medium grit as indicted by the blue collars. Exactly the assortment I'd have bought if purchasing one bit at a time.<br /><br />This has to be my best Amazon purchase of 2019, so far.
