This Lavender Chamomile Calendula bar soap is fabulous! The Lavender is so relaxing after a long day! I had pretty high hopes of using this soap, but as soon as my 3 year old laid eyes on it and took a whiff he took it to his bathroom. He really loves it and has been using it ever since. Quality ingredient list. I also appreciate the fact that Possum Hollow has been crafting their soaps for 18 years!<br />***I purchased this soap at a discounted price and agreed to test it and provide my honest and unbiased product review***
This is wonderful soap!
Wow! Possum Hollow's Lavender soap is wonderful. It's a large bar, thick and hefty. It lathers well and rinses clean, too. Their statement of "Chemical Free, Paraben Free, SLS Free, Non-GMO, Preservative Free, No Artificial Anything. We do not test on animals" pretty much sums up even more reasons to fall in love with this natural, good for your skin soap.<br />The lavender scent isn't too strong, I found it just right.<br />Made in the U.S.A. in Buck's County, PA. It's a great soap to buy for yourself or to give as a gift. I received it at a reduced cost in return for my honest review. I have aging, sensitive skin and often ITCH like crazy after using new products but this soap did not cause any itchiness or discomfort and my skin feels smooth afterwards.
Nice Smelling All Natural Soap With No Filmy Residue
I switched over to natural soaps a few years back to get away from all the chemicals our corporations drown us in. I've found that most natural soaps are very good, it's the rare one that I don't like, just the fact that they are made with good ingredients makes the majority of the difference. I am never averse to trying a new product in this area so when I was offered a discount coupon to test this product in return for an honest review I was happy to do so.<br /><br />At 5.5 ounces the soap is a decent size and priced correctly compared to competition. The packaging is pretty nice, although not a reason for me to purchase things but if you are giving it to someone as a gift or to try out it will make them comfortable knowing that this is not a cheap product. The fragrance was a very nice lavender smell that is not too strong and slightly different than other soaps because of the addition of Chamomile Calendula to it. From my standpoint I like the fact that the smell is not too overpowering, I'd rather not smell all flowery from afar. I've got pretty dry and sensitive skin, and after a few uses I have noticed that it does help keep my skin moist, along with the Argan Oil I use.<br /><br />Washing with this soap was easy, it lathers up well and does not leave any filmy residue that takes work to wash off.<br /><br />I'm very happy with this product and will most likely purchase again.
