I tried it on my finger before using it. The suction is quite strong, but it does not harm the skin. Use once or twice a week can clean the blackheads on my nose effectively.

I love this tool, cleaning is time consuming because I take out the foam insert ... wash it out and then clean out the tool heads and soak in alcohol. The tool itself has a lot of suction power just make sure not to leave same spot because i still have redness next day from doing that.
