Great pomade, excellent scent
Loved the original, but having light hair I hate that it stained it. This is the perfect pomade. Great scent, excellent hold, and not too greasy looking. I will definitely be buying more of this! A little pricey, but not a purchase you’ll regret.

Lighter scent than the Standard hold.
Has a nice hold and the scent is fresh
Railcar has a firm hold but is also pliable it is not sticky and it does not make your hair crunchy or hard and it has a slight shine to it so your hair does not look dry out. It works great on shorter hair but it is a bit pricey for the amount in the jar. I use it every day and have short thick coarse hair so I need more then a quarter size every day so I will go through it pretty fast.

My mustache and beard are white. Regular Pomade is amber colored and left my mustache looking yellow. Don't have that problem with the Railcar. A bit pricey, but worth it to me.
Makes my husband look great
Works like a charm. My husband can't stop buying your product. It's gotten to the point where he takes longer in the bathroom to get ready than I do now.
3 years and no goimg back
I've been using this stuff for over 3 years and but looking back. I've gone threw a variety of products that either stunk, didn't hold, or didn't wash out.<br /><br />This smells great. Holds my off the wall and stubborn hair. And cleans easily. Now if they would only make a conditioner....<br /><br />Only con, and its really just an opinion, the new plastix containers suck. I like the glass better, but don't want to pay the cost increase that would likely be a thing if they brought it back.

This stuff is fantastic, it holds super well and is great for thicc hair and good for the slicked back look. The smell is great, the original red normal hold edition had a nice smell but it was a little too overpowering for me, this one is more dialed down and with the lack of color to stain lighter hair, it's really just a lower profile all together with a very nice hold and look. It is easy to apply and very easy to wash out, restyle is doable but maybe only once or twice and with care, these gell pomades aren't really meant for that in my opinion.<br /><br /> TL;DR -its pretty much perfect for a slick look with lower shine, get it.
Holds great on thick hair!
I've tried so many pomade products, but this is the one that I continue to stick with. Scent is great and not too overpowering. Does not feel sticky like other pomades on the market. Most importantly, I find the hold to be the strongest, which is an important factor for me since I have thick hair! I also love being able to reuse the jars for other purposes once I use up all of the pomade. Have been using Railcar Supreme Hold Pomade for a couple years now and will continue to purchase it! Love supporting a local small business as well.
