They "feel" like plastic but I just needed non-metallic so they work ...

I don't remember what the package said but I do not believe these are melamime. They "feel" like plastic but I just needed non-metallic so they work for me. I don't know if melamime would be more prone to breakage in this size of an item when dropped.

Perfect for coffee and chocolate milk.

I bought these for my morning coffee. I hate using metal spoons and scratching my cups. I used others that were thinner and they have broken. These are thick sturdy plastic. The kids use them to stir chocolate milk. Love them.
