Great cleansing soap.
This Raw African Black Soap from Ghana works well as a cleansing soap, without all the additives. Some people we have shared it with have also used it as a shampoo. Sometimes it is not consistent in quality because it is not thoroughly mixed and processed, but that does not seem to detract from its overall beneficial qualities.<br /><br />Our background is not African, but that consideration does not seem of any significance in using the soap.

I really like this soap. I bought it mainly for cleaning my face. I tend to have dry skin with acne. I wanted something natural but not harsh. I use a coconut or almond oil as a moisturizer. I prefer to take showers when using this soap because of the scum it leaves.
