I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. They all shed an impressive amount of hair that I have to deal with everyday. This little detailer doesn't look like much; a flat piece of rubber like what on windshield wipers (I think) and a hard plastic core in the middle for a good grip, but it works well. I only tried it once on car carpet and the result was pretty good. And it works like a charm on clothing.

Pulls hair right out!
This works so well on dog hair in my vehicle. My only wish was it was bigger so it would take less strokes to get an area clean. It works really well on edges with the narrowed tip area. I have a white dog and black interior so you can imagine how bad it can get. This pulled the embedded hair out with a little effort and made my carpet black once again.
