So I had this awesome vintage necklace.... after wearing it for 4 hours, I took it off to find a small rash. Well the rash grew all over my neck, up my face and was immensely itchy and painful. I ended up going to urgent care and after having to get 3 different medications for a nickel allergy, I decided to purchase this kit to test the necklace just to be sure (because it is really cute). I got it today and tested the necklace. The white swab part didn't just turn red, it immediately turned red. The whole necklace is loaded with nickel. I'm really happy to have a kit now to let me know before I go and buy any more vintage jewelry.

Pink Shows The Way
So It took me about a year to find out that I had a wicked nickel allergy. I totally sympathize with vampires now. I bought a belt after discovering about this allergy that professed to be made from zinc. That lying liar who lied when he wrote the review was wrong! It was Nickel! I was able to confirm that with this test. I also used it on jeans buttons, jewelry, and other things that may have triggered my allergy. The kit came with testers and a covering agent for nickel that you may need to coat. I would recommend.

It works as it described it would. The price was quite steep as there is so many things that need to be tested and you only get 10 testers and can only be used once each if it turns pick when nickel is detected. Nickel shows up on quite a few things.
