I like this quite a bit
I like this product a lot! It is thick, but it can stand up to my hair. I have very, very thick 3C/4A transitioning hair. I generally wear it in cornrows or in a bun, and this is perfect for that. I don't know if I would use it when wearing my hair out because it could weigh it down. I also wouldn't use it if I had thin hair because it would be too heavy.<br /><br />For my hair type, and how I usually wear my hair it's perfect. It gives it a nice shine, it doesn't dry my hair out and it doesn't sit on my hair. It also helps define waves.I have no problems with it whatsoever.
Great product for hair and skin
Read the ingredients, no mineral oil or petrolatum, EXCELLENT!! Most if not all other oil moisturizers have that pore clogging, toxic stuff.<br /><br />Seems to be all natural oils in this one, so I bought it and fell in love. Moisturizes and sinks into the strands for me. I have fine, relaxed hair and it made it so soft. I've used an entire bottle and have not experienced build-up or any other unwanted side-effects. I like the way this stuff smells and performs. I also have dry skin so I use it on my hands and feet and like it. I got the idea because I have other products marketed for use on hair and body. I CAN'T WAIT to get more of this. At first, I was glad it was on sale and even at that, it is expensive in comparison to other oil moisturizers - but oh, so worth it. I intend to always have this product in my arsenal for my skin and hair, even when it's not on sale.<br /><br />5/4/2011 update: I still love it. I am african american and now use it on my infant daughter's hair. I do agree though, the sheen seems to wear off after a couple of hours in her natural bush, probably because it is thick and NOT RELAXED. My solution, is that i add a touch of grapeseed or jojoba oil in with it on her hair and so far, so good. Still no build up or dandruff for either of us.
