One of THE best Deep Conditioning Treatments
I first bought this product at a boutique health store on Vanderbilt in Brooklyn, NY and once that bottle was almost finished, I took the bottle to the store just in case they were out. When I got there I didn't see the product on the shelf, so I asked the owner to order more. She was surprised I came in to ask for it, I guess it had been a while since she had them stocked on the shelves. She took my advice and ordered more! My hair responds so well to this conditioner, I had to order more. Also, I leave it on for 1-3 hours to really give my hair a deep treatment.<br /><br />Give it a try & see if your hair loves this as much as mine!
Great for Low Porosity Black Natural Hair
My hair felt so SOFT and moisturized! I noticed that one of the ingredients is Pepper Mint. You definitely can smell the pepper mint in this oil. No worries the smell is not overwhelming or too strong though. This oil is so light, don't make the mistake of using too much of the product, then run out like I did.<br /><br />For natural heads, what I did was shampoo my scalp first, then applied the oil to my scalp in 4 sections. Then in addition, I applied a creamy deep conditioner to the actual hair itself for since the oil reached the scalp separately. I sat under the hooded dryer for like 10 minutes or so with a plastic cap.<br /><br />Then I rinsed everything out in cool water to seal and hold on to the moisture. I did it differently than the instructions that said to shampoo after the hot oil treatment because my hair has low porosity. My hair would be undo the oil treatment and be dry all over again, smh. lol
