I keep a beard at times, but still use a badger hair brush and DE safety razor to clean up my neckline and cheeks. There are lots of secrets to a good shave, pre-shave oil, good blades a solid brush and hot water. But, if you get the shave soap wrong, you are likely going to have a bad day. This tallow soap is soap the way it used to be. Most people don't know that their soap is just detergent. All of the fats, the soothing glycerin and soothing molecules that lubricate the skin have been removed from most soap you buy.<br /><br />This sallow soap lathers up rich and smooth, it lubricates the skin for your shave and leaves it conditioned. If you are looking for an authentic shave soap, one that cares for your skin like a good soap used to, this is a great option. I did receive a discount on this product for a fair an unbiased review. But, I'll be adding this to my regular rotation for a great shave.
