If you're opting away from a permanent dye, give this a try!
Now there should be a disclaimer that other chemical treatment combined with this product could alter your final results. However, the color (violet) is a soft burgundy that has a subtle purple sheen. I have very dark hair (black) but previous demi permanent dyes that I've used in the past left my hair much lighter and with a chocolate hue, giving me the opportunity to try on a brighter dye.<br /><br />I am an individual with extremely fine hair. Although it is thin, it is not brittle or dry. And my concern when it comes to dyes is the damage left after leaving all those harsh chemicals set in for hours on your scalp. I opted for a more gentle dye instead of the permanent kind to minimize the negative impact it can cause my hair. The last thing I want is to promote type of balding or shedding.<br /><br />Now my reason to dye my hair wasn't to change the overall look and colour of my hair. I was simply trying to conceal my silver strands of gray that I suddenly acquired with time. And due to my thinning hair condition, I was cautious not to indulge in permanent coloring since those results require you to maintain the colour by continual dying or touch ups. Otherwise, be prepare to embrace your roots!<br /><br />Now in the past I've used organic dyes that didn't really apply any different shade to my hair colour. My last dye was black but when it washed off, it left my hair somehow lighter. So I did my research on this product before having my hair professionally dyed at the salon. This is a good line of hair products, so please buy with confidence.<br /><br />At first it seemed like my hair wouldn't absorb the new dye although the stylist left it on for much longer. Honestly, my hair just didn't look any different when wet. However, after the blow dry, it was apparent that this product left my hair with a beautiful soft purple shimmer that had all the other clients standing up and admiring my hair. The stylist made a note of the shade and ordered more for her salon.<br /><br />More than two months later and the colour still persists. This is my first time experience such long lasting results. And my favorite part is that it never once left my hair dry or motionless. This product is so gentle unlike the other organic ones I've used that my natural sheen got restored, which bounces off some of the burgundy hue. I get daily compliments although it didn't dramatically change the color of my hair. What I'm told the most is how others love how silky and shimmery my hair looks, and how they admire my hair in the light because the colour looks very chic allegedly.<br /><br />So I wish to share my experience with this product so others who are hesitant can also delight in similar results as me. I love this product so much I purchased several for future upkeep. And because it is a demi permanent dye, the colour is expected to be short lived after regular washes. But it beats the irreversible damages that most permanent dyes have to offer and does not leave any roots that would require touch ups.<br /><br />My recommendation is just occasionally dye your hair, and with repeated use the colour will appear truer and last longer. Careful with transitioning from different dyes as results are not guaranteed to leave you with the desired tone. Just keep it simple and stick to one preference so that all you have to do is just maintain the color.
