Try it!
This isn't super long lasting color, and a traditional topcoat would ruin the matte look/texture, but if you want a nice event nail or a different look, this product is just what you are looking for. I'd used a two step velvet nail before, and this is much more hassle-free and quick. The polish dries really fast, too. It is hard to gauge the color from the bottle, but I got a set of 3 and am really happy with them all, color and effect-wise.
