They are good for beginners or to be used on the go,yet not as your primary brushes.The reason it can't be used as your primary set is because it doesn't have the brushes to complete a whole look . That's just my Personal opinion.

I've had these around a year now and I still use them almost daily. The only complaint I have is the handles came off a few of my brushes at around 6 months of use. I hot glued them back on but just a warning!
