I saw a much more expensive version of this and was tempted to buy that. I bought this instead and had my doubts about whether it was made from jade because it is so inexpensive. When it came, the material looks and feels like jade and the unit is sturdy. This does come from Shenzhen...thus probably made through exploited labor as are most of our products...that makes me feel sad and irresponsible as a human. But from a vain, narcissistic standpoint, this product is good. I keep mine in the freezer for a cold roll over the face.

My friend got one of these and I liked hers, so I got same one. Seems to be of good quality. There are ones out there that are lots cheaper. Not sure if they are same quality as this one. I went with this one because I knew what I was getting. I keep it in the freezer and roll it on my face to refresh myself. Helps with headaches too.
Good for the price.
I just purchased mine. It appears to be real jade, as there are imperfections that look natural, as I hold it up to the light, and it feels cooler to the skin than hard plastic would. I did not give it five stars, as I am not sure how long lasting the metal part will be. There is no information on what the metal is. I am keeping it dry, for fear it might rust. I also wish the roller would roll a bit more smoothly. For the price, it was worth my first try at a facial roller. Color is true to photo.
