I originally ordered this for my 8 year old granddaughter for her birthday, but when it arrived I felt that it was too dark for her ( no fault of Sephora or Amazon) , ironically the eyeshadow I ended up ordering her was ( also Amazon) very bright. But as we have mostly girls in the family I gave it to an older granddaughter for Easter. Problem solved. But the quality of the eye shadow was great. It was not broken or anything
