This soap has nice lather and decent shower life.<br />As for the fragrance... I'm a purpose fragrance guy. I have 2-5 soaps in my shower for different purposes. Fragrances are in different categories. Woodsy, Sweet, floral, spice, fresh and clean. This soap is in the fresh and clean family. Part of the F&C family is soapy. Branching off of soapy in detergent. To me, that's where this soap fragrance falls... and that's not a bad thing. If you love it when you put on clothes straight out of the dryer and they feel warm and you smell them, this soap will complement that experience. When you get in your bed with freshly washed sheets and pajamas, this soap fits. If you work in a place where you can't wear cologne or parfum, but you like to smell fresh and your fragrance is your laundry detergent, this soap work well. This is also nice for that fresh smell in warm weather. I do recommend this soap.
