Good
Good product, just little bit pricey
Mineral Sunscreen
For a mineral sunscreen this is goes on very smooth, the texture is thin making it easy to apply. What I like best is it doesn’t rub off or streak or feel heavy like other mineral sunscreens.
HG Physical Sunscreen
I switched to Japanese and Korean sunscreens about 3 years ago, but like many people have struggled to find a physical-only product that can come anywhere near the cosmetic elegance of their chemical counterparts. I was pretty wary of spending $30 on this teeny tiny tube of sunscreen, but I have to say - it's the best, hands down. Feels super silky and leaves no white cast, as far as I can tell (YMMV of course; I have fair skin, but my yellow undertones + red overtones doesn't leave me totally immune). It wears great under makeup and is just an absolute pleasure to put on in the morning.

If your budget allows, I think this product is worth the pricetag. Although you can probably find it for less going through an AB vendor, if you don't mind the hassle/longer shipping time.
favorite non-chemical sunblock!
I have re-ordered this sunblock several times now and really like it for my face for day to day wear (it's a bit pricey for full body). It doesn't leave a white cast on me (granted I don't have dark skin, but I don't see a white sheen that I see from most other non-chemical sunblocks). It blends into my skin easily and works under make up on those occasions I add it. It has a bit of a matte texture, and seems to with stand hot humid conditions fairly well. Most important doesn't irritate my skin, and I don't actually feel it on me. I find in the evening using an oil cleaner is the easiest to remove it. Oh yeah and no noticeable scent which is a huge plus!

side note: the price is actually about the same as when I have bought it in Japan.
Best physical sunscreen, I stopped looking for alternatives
This is basically my go-to sunscreen now. I love it so much, some people experience a white cast with it, even those with pale skin (mine is not that pale. NC 25 maybe? I do well with natural beige), but that hasn't been my experience at all. It goes on smoothly, protects well, high SPF, doesn't pill. Not sure if my layering helps - I layer a bunch of stuff beneath sunscreen (Paula's Choice salicylic acid, Hada Labo Premium Hyaluronic Acid Lotion, Vit C, HABA squalane, Vanicream moisturizer in the tube), and my husband can't even tell I have sunscreen on (usually he always complains about the white cast and how "I want to be pale". I don't dude, white cast is not intentional!)

Been using Japanese sunscreens for several years, chemical and physical. I have tried many Japanese physical sunscreens: &free whitening UV cream (excellent, except... it pills so that's a deal breaker), Biore UV Kids Pure Milk (absolutely the worst experience putting it on, it's a greasy mess, but once on the cast fades. It's accetapble as a budget option but I don't feel like torturing myself), Pigeon UV Baby Milk Waterproof (white cast noticeable, takes a while to fade, smells kinda zinc-y, but it would be my 2nd choice after the Shigaisen Yohou). Shigaisen Yohou is an absolute winner for me, and now it's available on Amazon US so I don't bother with anything else anymore.
Excellent sunscreen
I bought a tube of non-chemical sunscreen I was in Japan and loved it for my super sensitive skin. Ran out of that product and couldn't find it in the US for a reasonable price so I was looking for an alternative non-chemical sunscreen that's sold in the US. Read the reviews and decided to give this a try. It's a bit runnier than the other product I used but still provides excellent protection. I've been on a few backpacking trips and no sunburns or worsening of my melasma so very happy to be able to find an effective non-greasy, non-sticky sunscreen that doesn't make my skin feel like it's suffocating underneath.
Teeny little bottle - too expensive - nice product though
This sunscreen piqued my interest because its a Japanese mineral actives only formulation. It costs a lot for a small tube. It’s nice on the skin, not drying and has high protection.

Japanese sunscreens are awesome for their PPD rating system (persistent pigment darkening) because its exactly what I need in a sunscreen. I am trying to avoid further damage while treating my current hyperpigmentation, melasma and dark spot/wrinkles issues. This rates PA++++ which allows 16 times or more time in the sun. UVA is what they rate for, rather than american sunscreens are concerned with UVB for sun burns.

The formula is nice, nearly invisible cast which is unusual for a mineral sunscreen, and its not drying...is rather comfortable to wear.

It’s too expensive for a bitty little tube. I want to slather sunscreens on thickly and profusely, multiple times a day. This product is not cost efficient for me. Coppertone’s mineral botanical formula feels very similar and it costs 1/4 less for a huge 6 oz bottle. They are so similar i cringe at how much I paid for this teeny tube.
best sunscreen I've ever tried
best sunscreen and most comfortable sunscreen I've tried, I just hope it wasn't so expensive. it's a really tiny bottle for the price
