This is it! I have tried a couple of hair catchers for my deep soak tub and have been dissatisfied. One was nearly impossible to clean and the second one covered over in mildew. I spent a long time looking on amazon for one that had good reviews and wasn't terribly expensive. This one was way down in the list. It had a few good reviews and no bad ones. When I got it, I thought- No way, this is an over priced piece of junk! It's not junk, it really does the job! The thing sticking out on top in the photo goes in the drain and keeps in in place.

I placed this in my tub and it works great. I tried others but they moved around and it all started to rust. This filter has that knob in the middle preventing it from moving out of the tub drain. Glad I gave it a go.

It doesn't fit our drain perfectly, but it has really saved us from clogged drains. All in all well worth the purchase.
