Beautiful and very warm
I've been wanting a crocheted or knitted ear wrap since my daughter in law started making them for gifts for people. I looked at some at a street fair but they were too thin as far as width. I looked in some department stores but they never had the one I wanted. One day browsing online I found this one. It's width is perfect, the color is neutral which is also very important to me. I really liked the pattern , it looks homemade , and it is soft . It fits my head a little tight but I believe that's to keep the cold out. It's made of cotton so it won't shrink but I definitely won't dry it because I don't want it to get those little yarn balls or fringe on me. I'm looking so forward to wearing it this winter. Thick!
Its very thick which is EXCELLENT for me! When snow or a cold wind comes through, my ears are covered and most of my head, while i still get to keep my hair "up". I personally appreciate being able to have my hair like that since i have super long hair and live in a very windy area! I get tangles very quickly because of this, so i keep my hair up most the day which is hard when you want to wear a beanie to keep your ears & head warm! I dont like moving braids out my way either so i usually wear a bun if my hair isnt flowing down! I was honestly expecting pretty thin coverage & was pleasently surprised to find a wide fit with a enough thickness to really keep warm! Its not super stretchy so i am worried about it getting "stretched out" after awhile but for now its great! My 2 & 6yr old can wear it though it covers most of their heads. They still like wearing it anyway! I like how it fits ALL the way around my head to keep most my head warm! The "grey" i ordered isnt so much grey, but honestly i couldn't care less what color it is. Just a bit of info for anyone who IS hung up on color! '<br />I'm happy i took a chance on this! I do recommend this to anyone who lives in a cold windy area. Anyone who likes to keep their hair up regularly! Its worth keeping in the "winter gear" for sure!

This ShungHO Hairband Cap Woolen Braiding Knitted Headband is much better quality than I was even expecting. It came in just a clear plastic cover. The braiding and knit of the yarn is very nice, with no frayed or loose hanging ends that I could see. The braiding looks super cute, and would go well with some braided boot socks. It does feel like wool, so it is a bit scratchy but not uncomfortably so. It was thicker than I expected it to be and keeps your head nice and warm. I did notice it seems to ride up on the back of my head a bit which I do not like, but that is no problem of the product, just the nature of the design. It looks a bit strange with your hair down but looks pretty cute with it up in a messy bun. I think I would have liked it a bit more if it was a bit less wide, because it covers so much that it looks a bit strange. I do however, like the fact that it covers pretty much half of my ears as well, to keep them nice and cozy during cold evenings and frosty mornings. Quality product.<br /><br />~Thanx~
