Practice!
It takes a bit of practice to use this item effectively, but it definitely stops any waste of foundation and is very simple to clean. It also stops having any bacterial buildup since it's not porous
Much better than a sponge!
I kept one and gave the others to friends and we all love them. Makeup goes on smoother and looks more finished than using a sponge applicator.. And, it's easier to clean than a sponge.
