Easy to use, promise a lot flexibility, with more experience it would be more fun to descend with this rope runner.

Wonderful product, slips a little if left alone, or I would have give it a 5 star. Then because I am a beginner, don't get the confidence to climb down only with this, I add a prussic knot to the rope while descending so I don't come down too fast, may be with experience I will like it more.

Buy the newer one

Lots of design flaws here: mid-line attachment while in a tree is hard and maybe dangerous if your not prepared to come down another way when you drop a piece of this thing. The "beak" is so hard to push down if you don't buy a separate attachment called the bird flap, it can also burn your fingers if you descend to fast. They apparently fixed this stuff with the new one so just get that.

Nice try

Runs smooth but it's big and bulky. Could be re engineered to look and feel like the new systems out there. I really like that you can insert the rope at any place. The price is to high. Zig Zag is cheaper, but you can not inter the rope at anytime
