Great Vitamin C Serum !
I received my Skederm vitamin C X30 Power Serum in the mail last week and I have used it twice daily since then . I love that this serum is more of a lotion , rather than a liquid , and that absorbs nicely into your skin. It dries rather quickly and I am able to apply my makeup over it. Other serums that I have used are sticky and they make your face feel really tight and leave a layer of residue. This serum does not. It has a nice, pleasant citrus smell and it is not overpowering . The bottle that it comes in is of quality, is very sturdy ( and so cute ! ) and the pump works nicely. My skin looks radiant and more youthful after I use it . I have noticed the fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes have become less noticeable. I have very sensitive skin and this serum hasn't irritated me at all . I have read that Vitamin C serum can be the best solution to most of your skin health issues. Aside from its potent anti-aging properties, it can also give your skin the protection it needs against the sun’s harmful UV rays.Vitamin C has been reported to:<br />*Increase collaged production in the skin (this helps get rid of wrinkles)<br />*Brighten and tighten the skin<br />*Reduce the effects of negative sun exposure (Not all sun exposure is bad)<br />*Mitigate some chlorine exposure<br />*Help skin repair itself<br /><br />I will continue using this serum daily from here on out . WOW! I so love this product. Putting it on my face this morning was like getting a thousand butterfly kisses all at once on my soft and smooth as a baby's bottom cheeks. The experience goes like this: step 1 - Pick up the cute little lightweight bottle and take off the cap. step 2 - Slowly squeeze the little button until just a small amount of the creamy mixture comes out of the spout. step 3 - Spread the lovely lotion on your upturned face and revel in the complex formula that is tightening and strengthening your skin with every stroke. step 4 - Enjoy the new face. Okay let's get serious, if you have read the recent data on vitamin C then you're probably just wondering if it really works. The short and sweet answer is yes. I haven't seen significant improvement but I have only had it a few days and I do like the way it feels and smells on my face and that is saying something coming from a loyal MK customer. Don't discount my opinion even though I did receive a discount I do really like this product!

So, first of all I was impressed by the level of scientific knowledge that they provide to the consumer when advertising this product. I have found that a lot of these skincare products either assume you know why you are buying this treatment over another, or don't have the scientific backing to emphasize their products effectiveness. Having worked in the makeup and skincare field for the last 10 years, I was so pleased that they gave customers enough credit to tell them how it works!<br /><br />That being said, this product is really wonderful for adding luminosity and smoothness to the skin. It is rich, but not sticky, and leaves the skin feeling like you applied a moisturizer more so than a serum (which I appreciate being oily skinned and not always preferring to wear moisturizer under makeup). I'd call this a slow but potent product that will give you the results you want if you are patient (but nothing gives the results that going under the knife will give, so don't expect it). Smoother and firmer appearance
I am not a stranger to Vitamin C skincare products, but this power serum by Skederm is very different from all the Vitamin C serums that I have tried before. I always have ongoing problems of uneven skin tone and under eye dark circles. This special blend of serum is formulated to target signs of aging including dark spots, skin dehydration and dull skin tones. Unfortunately, it is exactly what I need at this point of my life. It may not be fast and effective against deep wrinkles though, but nothing really is other than cosmetic surgeries. The serum is quickly absorbed into the skin and does not feel greasy or gel-like silicone texture that a lot of serums have. It does have a pleasant light scent which quickly dissipates after applied and the consistency of the serum is somewhat creamy. It spreads very easily and one pump is enough to cover my face so the bottle should last quite awhile. When I apply this serum after cleansing and toning, I immediately feel as if my skin has been infused with moisture. It soaks right in and makes my skin feel more hydrated. It feels smooth and luxurious when I spread it over my face and neck. I have not experienced any irritation or negative reaction to this serum. Nevertheless, it is gentle enough to apply even under my eyes without any burning or itching sensation which has happened with a lot of beauty products I tried over the years.<br /><br />I really adore the elegant packaging, it comes in a beautiful airtight pump style bottle which protects the ingredients and keeps them fresh. It's sanitary and dispenses just the right amount for each application. I instantly love the way it makes my face feel soft and supple on first use and the results over the past week alone have continued to smooth my skin significantly. My face looks and feels more smooth, firm, and has this radiant glow that makes me look so much energetic. It has also helped balance my overall complexion. Even though I have exclusively been using this serum for about a week. I do not expect it to work miracles, but if it can hold moisture to the surface of my skin to give it the appearance of being smoother, then it is doing exactly what I need it to do. I do notice after using it that my skin feels tighter. I have not noticed any change in my fine lines yet, but the texture of my skin is starting to look better already. I am pleased with what I have seen so far and I am fully aware that I should give it at least a month to see results just like with any skincare product on the market. I will continue using this serum to document what my results are over time.<br /><br />Disclosure: I purchased this serum at a discount for my honest opinion.
