Smells great

Eye serum has gentle ingredients but too oily to use in the morning
According to the Environmental Working Groupโs Skin-Deep website, the ingredients in this product total a 1 for few safety concerns. (A 10 rating is the highest score meriting the most significant safety concerns.) The only ingredient for which no data was available on the EWG website was Pomegranate Fruit Extract. I am using the product daily and feel entirely comfortable with the formulationโs safety profile. I have had no breakouts or redness.<br />After two weeks of use, I noticed a slight improvement in dark circles under my eyes and a reduction in fine lines radiating from outside eye corners. I did encounter one issue which caused me to give the product a less than perfect rating. The formulation is very oily, which is no surprise as its mainly composed of oils. This is no problem for my nightly skincare routine because the oil is absorbed overnight. In the morning, however, itโs a different story. The product was incompatible with the concealer and foundation I use. It left a wet-looking sheen on my face. Using a translucent powder on top didnโt work because the powder then became messy. I tried blotting the serum after application but found mascara and eyeliner smudges repeatedly under my eyes throughout the day.<br />Instructions recommend using the serum morning and night, but I found it beneficial to use it only nightly. A little goes a long way. One drop from the eye dropper was enough for both eyes. The product has a good safety rating, is cruelty-free and vegan.
