only foundation ever again

i found this foundation searching for bridal makeup. i love it!! covers the red on my cheeks actually adds moisture and fixs the dry t-zone area. buildable from a med to full coverage. looks natural but covers everything u need it to. use with halo to get that healthy glow!!!

So far so good

Its winter right now and i bought this in the shade M1. The color on my face in this season is just a slightly and i mean slightly, darker than my actual skin color but i know when summer rolls around and i get my beach tan on it'll look fine. & i'd still wear it in winter bc i think i'm prob the only one really noticing the slight shade diff...hopefully. But other than that, so far ive only tried it once but it covered well and gave a pretty natural look...for someone who never wears foundation (i bought it bc i'm sick of having such a shiny face in photos when i go out). And the best part of it was that i put it on at night just testing it out and was lazy and left it on when i went to bed and when i woke the next day and washed my face like i do every morning, my face felt sooo nice and silky smooth and soft and as of right now im sold. I live in VA and summers get SUPER humid so we'll see in the summer if it can withstand the heat and not melt when i go out at night but so far its great and i would recommend it.

Lovely makeup

Searching for an animal-friendly makeup, I came across the Smashbox line and thought I'd give it a try. I have olive skin and, unfortunately, the M1 is a bit too dark for winter wear. It will be perfect when I get a bit of a tan in the warmer months ahead. I've switched to the F0 formula and it's perfect. I should say that I've never worn a 'fair' makeup color in my life...Smashbox tends to run on the dark side.<br /><br />The makeup is a bit greasy going on, but give it five minutes to set and it feels wonderful. I have not noticed any oxidation, something that I have read in several reviews. I did try to use primer under the foundation and felt like I was wearing a mask. My new routine is wash, moisturize, wait five or ten minutes, apply foundation, wait five minutes and finish my face. I've not experienced any breakouts and my skin feels amazing. The makeup lasts through a full day at work and, when set with Halo (by Smashbox) powder, I don't have to touch it up at all.
