I was hit by a very sweet, very almondy scent

This product was sent as a sample for me to review. Upon opening it, I was hit by a very sweet, very almondy scent. Not unpleasant, but definitely very strong. I couldn't smell the ginger at all. I tried using it as a body wash and really had to use a lot to maintain lather on my sponge unfortunately. My very sensitive skin did well with it though and I didn't feel quite as dried out as normal (I live in an extremely dry climate). I think I'd be happy using this wash as soap for my hands, but the amount I'd need to use for body wash would make it cost prohibitive

Moisturizing soap that cleans but doesn't strip.

Got a sample-sized version of this from Carbon Beauty and love the stuff. It is very strongly almond-scented - didn't detect any ginger - but it doesn't linger. The soap doesn't foam up a lot (most natural products don't), but my hands felt clean and even better, didn't feel stripped. I wash my hands a ton, and they're so dry and yucky right now. I feel like I can't rub in enough lotion. This stuff cleans and moisturizes, and I've definitely noticed my hands don't look quite as Wicked Witch of the West. Soapwalla makes pretty awesome stuff.
