Glue on clogging taps!

I was unsure of trying to glue clogging taps, but it actually worked, and has held up for dance. My daughter's foot keeps growing and I hate to spend $80 on a pair of shoes to just have her grow out of again. So we bought some cheap canvas shoes at Walmart and Gorilla glue to attach the clogging taps. My husband used small vise grips to keep pressure added overnight while the glue dries. The only issue for me was I used too much glue and it ran out onto the shoe. The idea still works, and the shoes are useable for dance.
