doesn't smell like sunless tanning product
I've been using this product for nearly 4 years. I haven't found anything that matches the results. The light smell is pleasant, doesn't smell like sunless tanning product. I typically apply with latex gloves but recently got the mit. It works well, I used it as more of a buffer to finish some tough to reach spots rather than applying the whole product.
Buy the mitt!!! It will save you time and will look so much better!
Buy the Mitt! Applying with disposable gloves leaves ugly streaks and much of the product is wasted in the glove creases. I used it after my shower in the morning. By noon, my skin was glowing with a golden-ish tan. It's not very dark, but I only used one layer. It lasted 2 days, although the shower didn't remove all of the color, my workout at the gym wiped it clean off. I thought it would rub off on my clothes but none of it did. I wore a white tank 10 minutes after applying.

Fantastic fake tanner! I'm not a fake tanning expert (I used to tan in beds regularly), but I really do my research. I've tried a couple other self-tanners that I like, all of them fairly inexpensive like this, and this one takes the cake. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using the mitt or getting the mitt. I know a lot of reviewers said the gloves work great, but the mitt really helps even out the application process and keep the tint looking more even for instant wear (sometimes I put it on in the morning/midday!). Plus, the mitt keeps excess color off of your hands and the mitt is very soft, almost a silky microfiber finish. (I was using a foam mitt before, and this mitt is MUCH nicer and easy to clean.) I also prefer to take a shower later in the day or the next day to rinse off the tint, because the tint itself will come off with water. Underneath the tint is that beautiful golden glow, which looks very natural - not orangey or anything like that - and does not bleed any color when exposed to water! It looks great on the face, too - just a good as when I was bed tanning. I've received several compliments already on my "tan" and have been using only a few weeks. I think I might get the dark or ultra dark shade for my legs, since the color seems to fade a smidgeon faster with shaving (i.e. heavy exfoliation, which makes total sense) and legs tend to tan a little darker naturally anyways. I recommend applying every 2-3 days to maintain color, depending on often you shower/exfoliate shave. Please note I'm also very fair with naturally ash blond hair, and Medium is perfect for fair skin. It also has a slight odor to me when applying/prior to rinse, but it's not necessarily unpleasant or very noticeable.

I have used many many many self tanners - I usually pay to have a spray tan done because that was always the best results ... until now! I am very pale with red undertones (Irish) Sun Laboratories has figured it out! I apply after I shower in the am, there are instant results! It is VERY easy to maintain .... I just apply where needed (small amount) and go about my day! I use regular lotion nightly to maintain the tan. THE COLOR IS PERFECT! FINALLY NO ORANGE! It is a perfect REAL looking tan with ZERO streaking! I do suggest using gloves when applying since the effect is instant!

In an attempt to not look like a walking corpse, I ended up buying this and a myriad of other products. Working inside all day everyday keeps me from skin cancer, but wreaks havoc on my complexion. I have olive skin that looks ashen when I am sun-deficient, and this stuff worked well :)<br /><br />I can see how it may be too dark for someone with a different skin-tone, so to help: I have a medium olive complexion, and this worked well for me. It may turn someone with a naturally warm skin-tone too orange, but balanced my cooler tones very well. It works over night, stains everything (so wear black) and lasts for about a week, then requires touch-ups. It fades really naturally away if you decide you only want to use it before events, and will work much better if you exfoliate very well before initial application. Also: the leg hair on my thighs has always been thin, blonde, and whispy. THIS STUFF STAINS EVERYTHING. Goodbye blonde hair! :) Just be aware.
Great Self Tanner
Fast shipping and the product is awesome. The self tanner leaves a nice bronze tint so you can see where it has been applied. It is easy to apply and does not smell bad. This is my go to self tanner from now on. I love that it does not stink like most self tanners.
Good color
So far so good. It is in fact a little streak-y when applied but keep rubbing it in and it smooths out. Wear the gloves! Although it eventually came off of my hands the first application, it is hard to get off and I felt that using the gloves, all of the color went on the places I needed it to go, not half on my hands.
