An upgrade of user experience!
[[VIDEOID:d8c41a00f42f082c27a08126befb6d7c]] I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift, initially drawn to the look only. Unpacking was enjoyable with a strong sense of luxe. The razor is so sculptural that we couldnโt help but take a bunch photos for IG... He has used many razors before and thinks whatโs unique for this product is that the handle itself gives it some weight so itโs really effortless when making strokes. The round holder for the razor is a nice touch so you can place it on any surface that you want. It comes with one blade replacement. We decided to record a video for this review becuase he really likes the product. You can also see the before/after comparison in one of the photos. It would be interesting to see this model as a safety razor, too, If we are to give any suggestions.
Close shave
Not a dude but I have plenty of curves so I can testify to how well these work on curves and because of the shape of these they are easy to use on all curves. They have 6 blades and glide effortlessly through even thick hair. Did a great job on shaving large areas and has a nice weight to it so its easy to hold.
Nice kit, I like the stand.
This razor kit works well for me. I like to bring it when I travel because it comes with a neat stand and the shaving cream. The razor works well and gives me a nice close shave.
Great feeling razor very stoked
I try all types of different razors and the ones I grew up using from the major companies are just not made with the same quality as they used to in my opinion. So when I found an interesting shaped kind of new school style I wanted to try it and I'm glad I did. Definitely a comfortable grip and pretty decent quality that's what I was hoping for and I am experiencing satisfaction with these razors.
Nice looking kit
This is nice looking kit with good shaving cream. Only complaint is I wish the razors you could buy in the store and pop them in versus ordering online and having them shipped.
High Quality Product That Delivers High Quality Results
"Best shave I've ever had. Gives me a close shave with no tugging. Better than an electric razor".<br /><br />That's the first thing my husband had to say after he tested SUPRENT's Matrix Cutter Head travel kit razor for the first time. And what a kit this is. A razor handle, 2-blade refills (each with the first of its kind 6 ultra-thin blades total!), a dock to hold the razor and a bottle of shaving foam are included.<br /><br />The handle is sleek and heavy but easy and comfortable to hold. The head doesn't pivot but it doesn't need to thanks to the 38.5 degree shaving angle. It glides perfectly along the jaw line and chin areas without missing a spot.<br /><br />The base is heavy-ish and holds the razor well. Doesn't tip or wobble.<br /><br />He's not a fan of the shaving foam. Says he must 'really rub it in' in order for it to foam. He used it once and switched back to his regular brand.<br /><br />Suprent has really come out with an awesome razor kit. The presentation is gorgeous and the product works exceptionally well. Without a doubt this is worthy of gift giving. The price is reasonable.<br /><br />Highly recommended
Nice for close shave
My father shaves his face every other day. I asked him to try this razor and he was really impressed by it. He was able to have a very close shave. I just wish thr blade was more economical to replace.
Unique. . .Maybe Too Unique
This is a really neat razor that has one possible issue, which I'll get to later.<br /><br />The handle is big and heavy, and its unusual shape is very stylish. It gives a nice shave, too. If you have a small face or tight features, the large head might be a bit tricky to use in some areas, but that hasn't been a major issue. I usually use an old-school double-edge razor, not a flexing cartridge razor, so the fixed head angle isn't an issue for me. If you're used to a razor with a movable head, this one might take some getting used to.<br /><br />The included shaving foam smells good and works well. You don't get a lot, but you don't have to use a large amount of it.<br /><br />The "stand" is just a heavy metal cylinder with a round hole in the top and a pad on the bottom. The hole is wider than the razor handle, and just deep enough that the razor doesn't topple out. It's kind of weird, like the stand was designed for something else, but I guess it works.<br /><br />I'm not sure why they call this package a "travelling razor kit." It comes in a large gift box, and doesn't include any sort of travel case or bag. Plus, it's the biggest, heaviest razor I've ever seen (aside from folding straight razors). I wouldn't even think of taking this thing on a trip.<br /><br />Despite all the good things about this razor, there's one major red flag: At the moment, replacement blades aren't listed on Amazon or on the Suprent website. The package includes two cartridges and a card to get a third for free, but there's no guarantee that more will be available when you need 'em. While the included cartridges are definitely good for several shaves apiece, if that's all you get, you'll soon be left with a very expensive paperweight. I rated the product based on my use of it, but recommend that you verify the availability of replacement cartridges before buying.
