I love this CAROB powder!

I looked for carob powder because I am sensitive to chocolate...chocolate causes skin eruptions and heart palpitations, etc...it occurred to me that I should try this substitute instead of giving up my chocolate "now carob" drinks that start my morning. It taste great and I didn't experience any down side in flavor...I will be reordering! Great product just wish it wasn't so costly but then it is organic!

use it to make raw chocolate

I love to make raw chocolate: coconut oil, black currants, carob powder and raw hazelnuts. If I use cocoa powder, it becomes extremely bitter, so you need to add sweetener. Carob powder does the job perfectly, and you don't need tons of sweeteners. It is nice that this one is raw and organic, you usually find roasted ones. And they ship it fast.
