So a few years ago I bought a clip like these from target for like $8. I loved it and it lasted me almost 3 years before it finally broke. I love that I now have it in different colors and the same sturdiness.
Exactly what I needed
The plastic ones I used kept breaking every time I would wear them in the cold. I have not broken one of these yet!

Beautiful clips that are well made and hold hair great!
Better than plastic
I broke so many plastic claw clips just from normal use I finally decided to try these metal ones. They have outlasted last of my claw clips and I don't even have to worry about throwing them in my purse and getting tossed around a little bit. My only complaint is that the teeth are really far apart and if there isn't a good amount of tension they will slip out of my hair pretty easily.

I only wanted one color but I have fallen in love with all of them. I feel more comfortable wearing them in professional or formal settings because they are not plastic. They are heavier than plastic clips and I suspect that if you had very fine hair you would want a smaller sized metal clip. I have long hair that is somewhat thick and these are great for me.
