Just got home and my package was waiting for me. It takes a little while to arrive from overseas, but I've never had a problem with this seller and it's well worth the wait. Of course, if you're looking at this review, you probably know that the product is delicious! NOM!

A favorite childhood snack!
I grew up eating Taro Fish Snacks in Thailand, and they're still one of my favorite snacks. For someone not used to them, they can seem a bit strange. Maybe it's a bit of an acquired taste, but I really enjoy the chewy leathery texture of them as well. Something I discovered with these years ago is to spread them in a thin layer on a cookie sheet and stick them under the broiler for just a few minutes.. no more than it takes for them to just barely start to get a hint of brown. The texture completely changes to something crispy instead of chewy. Watch it though, they go from brown to black in the blink of an eye! Toasted up this way they also make for an unusual topping to a salad or a bowl of noodle soup.<br /><br />The original while package taro are my favorites, flavor wise, though sometimes I like the yellow and orange package ones too - they tend to be spicier, which I have to be in the mood for.
