This facial serum is excellent at regenerating my skin. Its ingredients are a delectable smorgasbord of rich-skin enduring effects. I was left amazed at the amount of succulence, tenderness and beauty glazing from the texture of your face!
Very Fine Facial Oil
I took Evening Primrose oil capsules for years until I realized thatโs what was upsetting my stomach, not just IBS. I still try it again every now and then, but I just canโt seem to tolerate itโwhich is a huge bummer!!<br /><br />While using it my skin absolutely radiated. People would constantly comment on my glowy skin, and all my irritating redness completely went away. So I was happy to see a nice skin product containing EPO. The only problem I thought I might have is the scent. EPO kind of stinks to me, so I wasnโt sure if I would like this or not. Well, I do! Thereโs no discernible smell to me. So thatโs actually pretty perfect.<br /><br />It is an oil, not a serum so itโs going to feel thicker than a serum. I enjoy using oils myself, as I have aging drier skin now. I also work outdoors so theyโre not just okay, theyโre necessary for me. This one has an excellent consistency. Itโs not difficult to pump out or distribute at all. It absorbs readily as well.<br /><br />I do get a nice glow when I use this. Itโs not as amazing as taking EPO internally, but itโs still noticeable. I think itโs around $51 right now, and thatโs definitely too rich for my budget. But is it priced correctly for the quality? Probably. It does look and feel like a higher end product.
Good weight oil that makes skin barrier.
As I have oily combination skin, I don't usually use oil on my face and only use them to massage my neck or sometimes face (when it's drier condition depending on my hormonal cycle.)<br />Thus, I am not that expert on facial oil. I think this is about the 5th different oils I have tried and one thing I like about this oil is that it smells like something from my facial at spa. While I don't like any fragrance for my skin care products, this one didn't bother me ( probably because this reminds me of being at spa I guess.)<br />This oil isn't too light so it's good to massage in that if oil is too light and dry out too quickly, it's hard to use as massage oil in my case.<br />Overall, a decent one in my opinion but again I haven't had much experience with facial oils so I cannot confidently say this one is better than others in all aspects.
Felt greasy
I applied the facial oil onto cleansed face. I personally wasn't a fan of the greasy feeling on my skin.
A true oil, not just serum
Be small container, but big results. Too oily for my facial skin, but nice for my knees and elbows to get the full moisture they need. Smells nice, slightly earthy.
Perfect viscosity for face, a little goes a long way
The Terre de Mars oil serum is a nice emulsion made partly of primrose oil and caffeine with the purpose of brightening and hydrating the facial area for several hours. After each morning use of a few drops, my face is hydrated for the rest of the day and the moisture it provides is even more long-lasting in more humid/hot weather. Although not too viscous, it can become sticky if you apply more than necessary, so a small amount is enough to give your skin the desired effects. Also perfect for sensitive skin and it has a very very faint floral smell that is undetectable soon after applying.
