This scrub is great quality! I love the jar that the scrub comes in because it has a large opening that allows you to grab product. I keep this scrub in the shower and no water goes into the jar. The scrub is large pieces that once rubbed on skin it somewhat stays on the skin. The scrub definitely has a coffee scent to it. My skin gets a little brown but not too much. After it leaves your skin softer than it was before.
Smells Just Like Coffee
The directions that are on the jar are a little difficult to follow, but otherwise, this is a great product! It smells just like coffee and gives a deep clean. The smell permeates my entire (small) bathroom when I use it with hot water and I feel fantastic after showering with it. I am a petite girl and have to use double the suggested amount.
You may need to add some kind of oil..
I have come to find that coffee scrubs are absolutely heavenly. I love that this particular coffee scrub uses coffee powder instead of the actually coffee. The scrub is marketed as Organic and it isn't. That is my biggest compliant. This is a large granule, sugar based scrub. It is dry, I've used dry scrubs with no issues but this is extra dry. It's very hard to get it to massage into skin unless you add something such as coconut oil etc. I also thought that the picture was a little misleading as the pictures makes it seem to be a creamy product. I am currently using it to help with cellulite on my upper thighs, I can't say that after a few uses I haven't noticed a huge difference but I will come back to update if necessary. The packaging is great, very upscale looking. The product's jar can be re-used, that's always a plus. It smells absolutely amazing, it makes me want coffee for sure but I just feel it's misrepresented and that's why I am reducing the rating by one star. I also think the scrub is priced appropriately. I am very likely to re-purchase, I just wish that I didn't have to add coconut oil to make it usable. I did receive this coffee scrub at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I regularly review products that I get for free or discounted, however, all of my reviews are held to a high ethical standard, 100% honest, are my own opinions and are not for sale.
