Just right, not too tight...not too loose
I love these! So let me start by saying that I have thick, wavy/curly medium length hair. These are great for those days of non hairwashing to keep some of those flyaways back. I also use the headband as a hair tie by doubling it up. I would recommend these. FYI: they did not stay in my hair for jogging. I don't mind though, don't really like things too tight around my head.
Wonderful Headbands!
I've been wearing these hairbands for several months to disguise some bangs that were growing out. The bangs have blended in now, but I'm continuing to wear these headbands because they are really cute. I have a large head size and get headaches from bands that are too tight, but these were quite comfortable. If they are too large for someone else, it would be an easy matter to untie and retie them a bit shorter. They stayed in place and didn't slide out of my hair at all. The colors were fun to wear with different outfits and the band of color in my hair was enough to give it a little kick without the bands becoming attention getting in themselves. Earlier in the year I had bought two similar tie-dye headbands at a local upscale boutique and spent far more for the two of them than for this equally attractive set of six. These were clearly handmade by an individual, down to the hand cut tags that were on each band, so it was great to buy something through Amazon and support a craft person as well. While I didn't try using them as anklets, I did have them wrapped on my wrist on occasion, especially if I thought I might need something for my hair later. All six bands look great after several months of frequent wear and I highly recommend them!

Gift for kindergartener who's decided to let her bangs grow out. No other headband has worked as well to keep the problem-hair out of her face. Sometimes she just wears the ribbon as a little necklace.

well, I love the picture!!!!!!!! granddaughters absconded with them and are very reluctant to share. I will be buying some more so I can actually hold my hair back.
