fairly gentle bleach but did not tone out brassy notes

it's a good bleach, the smell isn't as overpowering as some bleaches i've used. it's a bit gentler than other bleaches, and if you use it carefully it should do minimal damage to your hair. i've read that the violet in the bleach is supposed to tone out brassy notes, but it didn't do much for me in that regard. i couldn't get my hands on the copyright activator so i just used a regular 30-volume developer from the drugstore. I'm not sure if using the correct activator would make the toning more effective. they give you a LOT of product, so for the price it isn't too bad, i'm guessing it will last me a few years at least.
