Lightweight and well-made
This bag would be PERFECT if it had mesh pockets in the main compartment. I love this style of bag, with the two additional outside pockets, but there aren't a lot of bags in this style and they're all missing something. This one is missing inside pockets. I hope Veckle will add pockets in the future. A slightly smaller everyday bag with a similar design would be great as well.<br /><br />Anyway, this bag seems very well made. It has SBS zippers which all my Gonex bags have as well, and they've all been excellent. I have like 10 Gonex packing cubes that I've stuffed beyond reason, and the zippers are still perfect. So these zippers should last, too. The top zipper has two sliders so you can open it in either direction.<br /><br />The bag is made with lightweight materials without any padding or rigid structure, so you can flatten it. If you pack only a little bit of stuff, it stays small. If you pack a lot, it gets bigger. I love that. The main pocket is just for dumping stuff. There's no organization, which I need, so I won't be able to use this bag as a toiletry kit. There is one outside pocket with mesh so you can put your toothbrush or razor in there while it's wet. The other outside pocket has three little elasticized mesh pockets inside to hold things like eye drops or travel contact solution, or little pill cases. Those are the only sub-organization features in the bag. They're nice just not enough for my stuff.<br /><br />The bag has one closed loop handle that you can hang from a hook. Most of the hotel rooms I've been in recently have one or no hooks, so I learned from my mom to bring a rubber coated S hook with me on trips. They're for holding scarves or whatever on your closet rod. You can hang one from a shower or towel rod and keep your stuff off the tiny hotel room counter.<br /><br />Anyway really nice bag, just needs more organization for me.
