My batch number is A59. If you look up the batch number, it'll tell you that you'll have 5 months with the product. Honestly, I will not throw this out after 5 months. The formula seems normal for what I received. I'm satisfied. High end stores also place these shadows on sale if they're nearing the 3-year mark. For instance, saks placed a palette on sale 1 year before expiration. and sephora placed one 3 months before the expiration. It's common practice.
