Just what I needed
A pleasant surprise, these were just what I needed and just as pictured. They screw together securely, have a sifter insert and hold more than enough powder for carrying around in my makeup bag without taking up large amounts of space.<br /><br />Even came with tiny powder puffs, too small to be useful for setting a whole face but adequate for touchups.<br /><br />I'm happy with this purchase, I recently went a bit nuts buying Ben Nye cameo powder and this is a great way to carry what I need and store the rest. Recommended!

Got this to repace the packaging from my Laura Mercier transluscent powder. Does the job as espected. No complaints

Does the job
Size is good, and packaging is not bad. Looks a bit cheap since it's all plastic but it gets the job done. It does come with 2 jars, each with a puff. The puff is okay if you need to travel with it and don't want to bother w bringing a brush. I use these for the RMCA powder which is really thin and dusty so it does get messy and a good amount of product comes out of the holes. So I put a small piece of tape over half of the holes and now it's much easier to control the amount of powder coming out.

Based on the low price of this item (actually two items, they come in a set of two) I'd give five stars.<br />But if I'm rating based only on its intrinsic quality and usefulness, I'd still give four stars.<br />I wanted a refillable powder container for my vanity. So I do not have any need to put this in my purse or makeup bag.<br />This compact/container is easy to fill. The sifter insert pops out easily too.<br />The plastic it's made from feels a little brittle and cheap, but I've had mine for several weeks and it's not cracked or broken.<br />The little powder puff is pretty tiny and almost useless, but it's a nice touch.<br />My biggest issue is the threading, when you screw the top on. The threads are just not good quality and it doesn't seem to screw together easily or securely. On my vanity, that's not a huge issue. But if you're intending to use this for travel, I'd recommend a different product OR keep this in a ziploc baggie!<br />So far, I'd recommend this for home use, and I would repurchase if needed.
