Hair felt clean
I’m switching to this shampoo bar permanently!! 😊
I have long fine hair that gets greasy quickly, leaving me with a completely flattened down look. 😒 I have been using Head & Shoulders’s almond oil formula that gets my hair clean without over drying it. I was hesitant to buy this shampoo bar but I wanted to give it a try because the ingredients looked a lot more natural than Head & Shoulders and the packaging is way more earth friendly. I AM SO HAPPY I DID. I used it per directions and it cleaned my hair beautifully without (1) leaving any residue that would weigh my hair down or (2) over dry my scalp. I am absolutely switching to this shampoo bar! 😊
Gives my fine, color treated hair body without any other products!
[[VIDEOID:e642c99d9d392b63f8a8087c979de961]] This is the third shampoo bar I have tried this year. I know that I have to use it several times to get used to it. The first one was a local shop and I really wish I would loved it but it made my hair feel greasy. The second one was a $12 bar from Grove and it was wonderful but expensive. It also didn't give me the same body that the trader Joe's bar did. I've been using the trader Joe's shampoo bar now for several weeks, and I literally do not have to add anything else to my hair for it to look full and wonderful. I feel very French to just wash my hair with the bar and then not add hair product or style it or do anything else. Of course a great haircut helps, but the body stays and it doesn't get greasy so I get away without washing again for 3 days or more. I'm not even using dry shampoo to extend my hair that long. I love this and at 4 bucks it is a steal... And I'm not using plastic bottles that then going to landfill! This is my favorite product from 2021.
I'll buy again
The smell is great, and I was having itchy skin and not after I starting using this soap.
Nice scent.
Nice fragrance. It doesn't last very long. Would be good for travel.
Perfect for dandruff
I just purchased this bar from trader Joe's. Its very refreshing and perfect for itchy dandruff scalp. If you have curly frizzy prone hair like I do I suggest using this bar once or twice a week. It leaves a very cleansed feeling on the hair a conditioner is needed. It literally took my dandruff away in one wash.
Great product
I Liked this product, those that did not like it, probably didnt use it correctly. I received this bar as a gift from a student. So I am not a verified buyer, as it was gifted.

If one read directions and you don’t apply it like regular shampoo, it must be applied at the scalp directly first then run down the strands, this is probably why some people complain about greasy hair, they probably didnt part their hair and apply at scalp.

My Tip for using this product, is to be sure you apply at scalp. I applied before getting in the shower at the mirror, to save water, and parted my hair at finger width intervals, wetting the bar as I went, rubbing it my scalp, before showering, took less than 10 minutes, then once in shower I wet my hair a little bit, and it really lathered up.

When I rinsed my hair, I could tell it was clean, felt different from bottle shampoo. You could feel the clean. It felt lighter than usual too..

I would give it 5 stars, but I dont like the peppermint scent, but then I don’t like food scents in my toiletry products. The bar is also really slippery and hard to handle when wet. I was thinking Shampoo bars need a gripper, I might invent one if no one has beat me to it.
