Flavorful and easy to use

The plain spice mix smelled strong in a fennel/anise kind of way, but once it was mixed with the ground butt it was good and not over powered with any particular flavor. It has the very slightest amount of heat if you are super sensitive to hot foods. I do not consider it to be spicy though. I used about 9 grams of seasoning per pound of meat, and it was flavorful. This is proportional to what the package will season (227 gr package / 25 lbs of meat seasoned per package = 9)
